सौर पंप अर्थात सूर्याच्या उर्जेवर चालणारा पंप. पुण्यातील सावित्रीबाई फुले पुणे विद्यापीठातील (पूर्वीचे पुणे विद्यापीठ ) उर्जा आभास प्रणाली आणि ऑस्ट्रेलिया स्थित  RMIT विद्यापीठातील संशोधकांच्या संयुक्त प्रयत्नातून या सौर पंपाची रचना करण्यात आली आहे. या संशोधनावर आधारित एक लेख दैनिक लोकमत मध्ये ८ एप्रिल २०१५ रोजी प्रसिद्ध करण्यात आला होता.
