सौर पंप अर्थात सूर्याच्या उर्जेवर चालणारा पंप. पुण्यातील सावित्रीबाई फुले पुणे विद्यापीठातील (पूर्वीचे पुणे विद्यापीठ ) उर्जा आभास प्रणाली आणि ऑस्ट्रेलिया स्थित  RMIT विद्यापीठातील संशोधकांच्या संयुक्त प्रयत्नातून या सौर पंपाची रचना करण्यात आली आहे. या संशोधनावर आधारित एक लेख दैनिक लोकमत मध्ये ८ एप्रिल २०१५ रोजी प्रसिद्ध करण्यात आला होता.

Solar Cycle अर्थात सूर्य की ऊर्जा पर चलने वाली साइकिल. पुणे के सावित्रीबाई पुले पुणे विश्वविद्यालय ( पेहेले  पुणे विश्वविद्यालय ) की ऊर्जा अभ्यास प्रणाली के  संशोधकोने  इस साइकल की रचना की हैं।  इसी संशोधन पे आधारित एक लेख 'सकाळ' नामक मराठी दैनिक मैं लिखा गया था.

बरेच दिवस झाले काही लिहिले नाही!!!!!!

बरेच दिवस झाले काही लिहिले नाही. आजूबाजूला तश्या  बऱ्याच घटना घडत आहेत.  डोक्यातील  विचारांचे विचारांचे वादळ एव्हड्यात शांत होईल असेही वाटत नाही तरीही लिहिले नाही. पण त्याचा अर्थ  माझ्या शब्दांची धार कमी झाली असा  मुळीच होत नाही, तर त्या शब्द रुपी अस्त्राला भवानी खड्गा सारखे दुधारी करण्याचा मानस आहे, आणि कदाचित  म्हणूनच काही विशेष लिहिले नाही..... 

तेलंगाना!- भारताचे २९ वे राज्य

१५ ऑगस्ट १९४७ ला भारत स्वतंत्र झाला. परंतु तत्कालीन भारतात असंख्य संस्थाने  होती. त्या पैकी काही संस्थाने राजी खुशीने भारतात विलीन झाली, मात्र काही संथानिकांनी आपला हेका सोडला नाही. स्वतःचे टिच भर संस्थान म्हणजे जणू एक सार्वभौम राष्ट्रच आहे अश्या अविर्भावात ते होते. त्या पैकी एक म्हणजे हैदराबादचा निजाम.
